BUMPERS AND OTHER PLASTICS
Bumpers and other plastics collected from vehicles can be recycled where possible but should be appropriately stored until they are transported to a recycling facility. Bumpers and plastics are susceptible to fire risk.
Bumpers and other plastics are highly flammable and are a combustible waste. Therefore, chapter 5 – Effective storage management – in Management and storage of combustible recyclable and waste materials – guideline (EPA publication 1667) is applicable local water authority for more information.
